walks with wolves: thank you for the kind words. the amount of time spent on my hand-drawn ones varies with the size and materials used. it can be anywhere from a few days to a few months. this particular one, however, was created digitally using one of my hand-drawn mandalas as a source image.
I am a contemplative artist, combining traditional mediums and digital technology to create unique images. I have two blogs: A Magic Mom and Her Mandalas, dedicated primarily to the art form of the mandala, and The Sacred Alter, which focuses on what I can only describe as "art birthed from the soul." I hope you will enjoy visiting both.

I am always in awe of the great detail you include in your mandalas.
On average, how much time do you spend on each mandala?
I need to challenge myself to include more detail in mine. I like the broad strokes that I can finish in under 3 hours. *chuckles*
