"tear of heaven ... hold me now ..." Totally touched my heart! The image is stunning, and the poem captured that sense of falling/loss but with a prayer and the trust to be held safely in the uncertainty. So much in those few words!
I had to delete my previous post due to ...ahem...typos..didn't want them to mar the perfection of your work...
This is magnificent...I agree with Rose...the phrase touched my heart and almost took my breath away. All of it...so beautiful...you have a way of spilling love, like honey, from your art, visual and prose
thank you all! this was taken from a collage piece i did recently for an online advent class i'm taking via abbey of the arts. one of the class leaders is kayce stevens hughlett, a soul collage facilitator. our first card had a theme of "journey."
I am a contemplative artist, combining traditional mediums and digital technology to create unique images. I have two blogs: A Magic Mom and Her Mandalas, dedicated primarily to the art form of the mandala, and The Sacred Alter, which focuses on what I can only describe as "art birthed from the soul." I hope you will enjoy visiting both.
