wow, this is quite a different outcome from the original image
it reminded me of chartres blue, the special blue colour created for the Chartres Cathedral stained glass windows
kel, i didn't realize there was a chartres blue - i had to google it after i read your comment - now i have a new blue to love...though i have always thought "the blue of an autumn sky" one of the loveliest shades of the blue family.

thank you, laura! the time we spent at the gulf during spring break was very healing indeed. i couldn't get enough of the colors at sunrise.
