you're about to lose all your marbles.
on those days, if you can,
(at least figuratively)
pull up a chair - beside the ocean,
beside a friend, and gaze awhile
at the horizon. gather your wits,
your thoughts, your self, and then
kneel on the ground, draw a circle,
knuckle down, and begin again...

Stacy you are a very talented woman
thankyou for sharing your gems with us
great advice :-)
For those of us who need to take a break and go on...
Oh how I absolutely, totally love this! The artwork, the poem ... light, fun, a great reminder to play and enjoy ...especially when the going gets rough. I want to and play with some jacks now - hee!
I had to pop back in again and tell you that painting is amazing! So much detail, so much happiness, the way different areas are seemingly magnified. Amazing!
i really think and feel the same about you, kel!
doreen, i just wish i could remember to follow it more often myself!
maria - i hope my blog offers a place where people can enjoy a needed break from time to time.
rose - i'm so glad you enjoyed it! :-)
Stacy - this is beautiful - I want to know more about the art work; Can you share?
Is it digital? It's wonderful.
hi jennifer! thank you for the kind words. yes, this was created digitally using the source image photograph (taken during our spring break vacation) as the starting point. i took it into photoshop elements and played with various effects and adjustments until it felt right.
I wish I had read this yesterday, when I definitely had a period of marble losing!! thanks for the reminder - I'll carry it with me today :) Love the softness and colors of these soothing marbles. xo K
