kel, i was listening to "the velveteen rabbit" being read aloud, as lectio divina. as i listened i also drew and then painted a mandala of the garden fairy making the bunny real. the painting is in color, but when i photographed it, i rendered it in sepia, then added a layer of a citra solv'd page and some "fairy dust" in my digital software.
I am a contemplative artist, combining traditional mediums and digital technology to create unique images. I have two blogs: A Magic Mom and Her Mandalas, dedicated primarily to the art form of the mandala, and The Sacred Alter, which focuses on what I can only describe as "art birthed from the soul." I hope you will enjoy visiting both.

WV - thank you so much! :-)
wow
this has such an ethereal yet earthy feel at the same time
concepts of air and earth colliding or connecting
would love to know more about the process of achieving this imagery
