out of the blue

out of the blue
the words came:
let your dreams
be dreams again
stop mining them
for meaning
and so i learned
to take refuge in
the nightly asylum.
out of the blue
the words came:
let nature
be your teacher
and so i learned
to be still.
out of the blue
the words came:
draw a circle
and so i learned
the Spirit's voice.

Love this.. and I continuously find spirit in the circle. There is wonderful wisdom to be heard when we listen.
You obviously do just that :-)

thank you bev and doreen! i love creating from nature. the day the source image for this was taken was such a beautiful one out along the natchez trace. the temps were still cool enough so that the water in the cypress swamp was still pretty much algae-free...and therefore, highly reflective.

i can't decide which are better your artwork or your words
